Metalcollection

Entirely handmade process

Metalcollection is developed on two different types of frames: one with smooth temple and front; and the other with a lowered area on which we fix the different papers selected by the customer.

For this model the paper is cut by hand. Then, the front and temples are covered with two layers of paper which are protected by a double coating of specialized glues and varnishes.

Using the laser machine

The manufacturing process for this collection needs seven days of a laborious work.

This types of frames have a lowered area on which we fix the different papers selected by the customer.

After cutting the papers with the laser machine, front and temples are covered with two layers of paper which are protected by a double coating of specialized glues and varnishes. Each coating needs a 24-hour drying time between layer and layer.

Varnishing, sanding and cleaning

After fixing the papers, both of this types of frames are protected by special glues and varnishes.

Each of this coating need a 24-hour drying time between layer and layer.

Then we proceed with a smooth sanding of each frame and at last we clean it.

Final result

The final result is a unique and exclusive frame, each with a small feature that makes it unique.

Elegant and sophisticated, with bright colours and a perfect finish.
